Vessel Insurance

All vessels berthed at the marina must maintain current insurance coverage, including public liability. Proof of insurance may be requested by the Marina Manager.

Overnight Stays

Owners may stay onboard their vessel for up to two nights per fortnight, with prior approval from the Marina Manager. The marina is designed for vessel berthing rather than permanent accommodation.

Walkways & Marina Access

Please help maintain a safe and pleasant environment: Keep marina walkways clear at all times Ensure anchors and equipment do not obstruct access Bikes and scooters are not permitted on marina walkways For safety, marina gates and boardwalk barriers must not be climbed over

Vessel Maintenance

The marina is intended to provide a pristine environment for all guests. Minor maintenance may be permitted with approval from the Marina Manager. Major repair works such as sanding, spray painting, grinding or welding are not permitted within the marina.

Environmental Care

We are committed to protecting the beautiful waterways surrounding the marina. Discharging pollutants or waste into the marina is strictly prohibited Oil, batteries and hazardous materials must be removed from the premises by the vessel owner Marina bins are provided for domestic waste only

Safe Mooring

To ensure the safety of all vessels and marina infrastructure, boats must be secured with a minimum of four mooring lines — bow, stern, bow spring and stern spring.

Do I need insurance for my vessel?
Yes. All vessels must maintain current insurance coverage while moored at the marina. Proof of insurance must be provided to the marina office, including public liability cover of at least $10,000,000.
Can I live on my boat in the marina?
No. Permanent habitation is not permitted. Vessel owners may stay onboard up to two nights per fortnight, and permission must first be obtained from the Marina Manager.
Can guests access the IMPERIAL hotel facilities?
As the Marina is a separate entity to the Imperial Hotel Marina berth holders and guests cannot access the hotel swimming pool or spa unless they are registered guests staying at the hotel.
Are pets allowed in the marina?
Pets are allowed only while transiting directly to or from your vessel. They must remain onboard and cannot stay overnight in the marina.
Can I perform repairs or maintenance on my vessel?
Minor work may be allowed with prior approval from the Marina Manager. However, major repairs are not permitted, including: Sanding Spray painting Grinding Welding Major structural work
What types of vessels can dock at Palazzo Marina?

Can I fish or crab in the marina?
No. Fishing and crabbing are not permitted within the marina area.
What are the rules about waste disposal?
Vessel owners are responsible for removing certain types of waste from the marina, including: Oil Batteries Commercial waste Marina bins are for domestic rubbish only. Pollution or discharge of waste into the water is strictly prohibited.
